Forum 'Netiquette" do you do this?

Have you ever been tempted in the heat of a moment to head to your closest forum of online friends and vent about your business? Perhaps you are upset about a change in the company, something your downline, crossline or leader has done (or not done), possibly you tried a product that did not like, or found a typo on the corporate website. Did shipping take too long or did something look wrong, taste wrong or smell wrong? You are so irritated and flustered you simply have to unload this off your chest and you want to do it NOW!

Proceed with CAUTION!

If this moment arises in your online marketing career I share this warning; pause, think about it before you post and choose your words carefully. Re-read your message before clicking that magic button that makes the post available to anyone on that forum and potentially to anyone in cyber space if it is an open forum...
  • How could this post reflect upon you as a business professional?

  • How could this post reflect on the company you have chosen represent?
Always consider the outsider, the person who is not in your company who is lurking in the folder to investigate the products, the opportunity and potential leaders.

Will they see your name in positive threads, or will your name be attached to negative threads?

Everyone poster is entitled to an opinion, but remember that each 'lurker' and potential business prospect forms their views based upon what they read...

"avoid being negative because no one likes being around an unhappy person"

I'm always seeking positive minded individuals to work with!

U2 - THIS is how Network Marketing works!

Greetings,

Today I was watching this video and I realized that U2 has used Network Marketing since the beginning of their music career.

The video above was filmed on the strip in Las Vegas, what did U2 do? A low budget video that reached thousands of on lookers in Las Vegas. What did the onlookers do? They went home and told people how cool it was to see this new group U2 performing on the strip.

Those people who found out, later heard of U2 via MTV and thought 'how cool, my friend saw them in Las Vegas, maybe I'll check them out and buy a tape...'

Years later U2 used this same marketing method by having a concert on top of a building, drawing a huge crowd and police and media attention. Basically, U2 screamed it from the roof tops! It worked!

Yet again, about a decade later, U2 did a concert on the back of a flat bed trailer while driving through the streets of New York city. Genius!

They used simple marketing, spread the words on the streets, shouted it from roof tops and took it across town.

YOU can do this with YOUR business too...and yes, you can make millions...

If you 'Still Haven't Found What You're Looking For' and feel 'Stuck in A Moment' you better 'Get On Your Boots' because you still have time!

Saturday

When the 'comfy couch' tosses you on your face, what do you do?

Have you been booted off your comfy couch? Perhaps they came and repo'd your couch!

The government says the economy is in dire straights, the word 'Recession' is tossed around and people are getting scared. People are getting laid off, homes are foreclosing, cars are being repossessed, credit lines are closing - how is this 'recession' affecting YOU? Are you going to claim to be a victim? Or are you going to take a stand and REFUSE to take part in said 'recession'?

What will you do to take a stand? How are you going to make a change?

Here's a secret...

"During times of economic strife the Network Marketing industry has flourished."

Perhaps you balk at the idea of Network Marketing....

"A Pyramid!"

you declare. Well, it's time to take a second look and find the truth in Network Marketing... Network Marketing is the only industry that is RECESSION PROOF. That's right, this industry has record growth when times are tough because strife awakens the entrepreneur in many. The entrepreneurial bug bites when the odds are down, people have a NEED and when they have a NEED they take ACTION.

Some start their own companies, some search out ways to make money with minimal investment. With Network Marketing you earn based on how hard you work plus you also have the potential to show others how to do the same and earn from their hard work too. No one said it was easy, but worth it? YES.

Now listen up, the reason for this substantial growth in Network Marketing during economic downfall is because people get desperate, their couch is missing, they need a new one! They NEED extra money, and are finally WILLING to do whatever it takes to make it happen. (Who likes sitting on milk crates anyway? You get waffle butt!)

You see regular people get 'comfy' in their lives, and often reject change. They think...

"I'm comfy here, if I try something new, I may have to get up off the couch..."

They get comfortable with their lifestyles, don't get me wrong, they WANT more, but don't bother because they are riding comfy couch of life.

However, when someone is ejected from the kicked back cozy recliner, they fly across the room, land hard and get rug burn on their nose. When face to face with carpet (or waffle butt) they realize...

"NOW I am NOT comfortable any more..."

At this time, people who formerly did not even consider the idea of a home based business. People who would not touch a network marketing company with a ten foot pole. People who would not be caught dead sharing an opportunity with co-workers, family, friends and neighbors. These same people have a motivation, they have a NEED. They are driven by survival. They are driven by wanting to pay the heating bill, put gas in their car, put food on the table (by wanting a new couch)

"Some of us seek the opportunity of Network Marketing and we knock on its door, while others wait until the knock is at THEIR door."

Either way, it's a step in the right direction. First and foremost, you HAVE to WANT it and you have to BELIEVE in YOU to make it happen. If you are experiencing an echo from the wallet, some new rug burn or your couch is missing, I'd love to chat with you. Explore my home business website and contact me. Let's chat!

I work at home FROM my comfy couch and I LOVE it!

Thought of the Day: When you are making noise they pay no attention but...

...when you are quiet they all seem to be listening.

These past 2 weeks I've been making some online adjustments and all of a sudden all these people whom I hardly ever hear from and/or people I've never heard from before are taking time out of their day to contact me. They are 'curious' why I'm so quiet. They are 'wondering' what is going on... They are noticing change, outside of 'their' normal. I find this honestly intriguing...

Things that make you go "hmmmmmmmmmm"

Online marketing has interesting people ringing your phone...

I am an internet marketer.
I'm self taught.
I don't pay a penny for my marketing, it's a crew of me, myself and I.
I am creative and innovative. I'm frugal too.
I listen when having conversations, and I 'hear' methods that work.
I use the system presented to me daily.
I pay attention to what works and what does not work.

The CEO of XXXXX Found me Online...

So in my marketing adventures I was recently contacted by the CEO of one of the largest entrepreneur networking sites known to man. I was stunned. I was flattered. I pondered. He was curious why I changed companies after four years. We chatted for over an hour about the industry, about the future, about some projects being worked on. I look forward to chatting with him again...

A professor at UNR Found me Online...

He is developing a project, a presentation about the Direct Sales/Network Marketing industries. He feels more young students should be presented the idea of how this industry can benefit them. I LOVE this idea as if they are shown 'how it works' NOW they can capture the vision. Wow if only I knew at 21 what I do NOW! Granted at 21 we did not have the fabulous internet at our fingers they way we do now. I look forward to participating in this as well!

You just never know who might find you...or what you'll find, on the web!

Sunday

Are you a 2% or a 98%?

Why is it 98% of people "FAIL" in this industry?

Because only 2% have what it takes to succeed. Sounds a little harsh? Well, it's harsh reality. People are lazy... 98% of people want something for nothing. They want to get rich over night. They don't want to work for it. They want someone to hand them a business that is automated and will start generating income within 24 hours.

The truth, it's hockey puck.

Any ad promising instant success overnight and money pouring into your PayPal account is representing a short lived company and neglects to tell you the most important part, the TRUTH.

The thing is, the 98% will fall for the above ad...

...even though they can't afford it they'll succumb to a high initial investment making their upline a huge chunk of cash. Then they'll fail. These are the same 98% who can't afford an opportunity that requires 'work'. Funny how they can find money to join a 'get rich quick' scheme because they 'want' to believe it's real. However when presented with the opportunity to actually work for success and financial freedom - they can't afford it!

However anyone in the 2% who reads that ad...

...knows in the real world it takes blood, sweat, TIME and tears to make it in this industry. We hear the word 'no' more than anyone else. We hear 'oh that's a pyramid' or 'oh those companies are scams'. But, to the 2% that keep moving forward we see what the future holds. We envision our path. We feel it like it's here now and we KNOW it's going to happen. We don't 'think' it's going to happen we KNOW it. Just like we know the color of our eyes, we KNOW we're going to make it BIG in this industry.

Back to the 98%, they are the kings and queens of excuses.
  • I tried, no one bought it.
  • I don't want to bug my friends.
  • I can't talk about my business at work.
  • I'm too busy.
  • I have no time.
  • I can't afford it.
Sound familiar? Then guess what - are you 98%!

The 2% press forward!
If someone does not buy it, they're on to the next person. They don't 'bug' their friends, they tell their friends about their exciting new venture. They don't talk about their business at work they get creative and give their co-workers samples. They are not too busy, they find time to succeed. They work their busienss so they CAN afford it.

Here's the deal.
1) Be 98%, a quitter full of excuses. Keep your day job and keep working til you retire or die. Hopefully you'll save some money so you can retire confortably at the young age of 75, or keep on working because you have to.
OR

2) Be 2%, a go getter full of reason. Work hard, quit your day job while you are still young. Help others reach their goals. Enjoy life, retire young, enjoy time, enjoy freedom and go on a vacation or two.

If you had to choose to be 98% or 2% what would YOU choose?
It's that simple, the choice IS yours. Everyone in this industry is provided the same tools, it's how you learn to use them that is the difference. No matter your color, creed, gender or age you can make it if you have the passion within you succeed.

Now Choose!

MLM - those who 'do' vs. those who 'won't'...

MLM - those who do vs. those who won't...

DO or DO NOT, there is no 'try'." Yoda, Wise Little Green Man

For a little green guy he's pretty wise isn't he? It is 100% factural and true... In MLM you either 'do it' or you 'don't'. There is no in between and there is no trying. Replace the word can't with the word won't. It is impossible to join an MLM and say "I just can't do it". It's not true, you can do anything you put your mind to. If you say you can't do it, you are really saying you won't do it. Seriously, what do you think you can't do?
  • You can't come up with the money to join? NOPE You WON'T come up with the money to join.
  • You can't talk to people you know? NOPE You WON'T talk to people you know...
  • You can't talk in front of people at a party? NOPE You WON'T talk in front of people at a party...
  • You can't talk to a stranger about the opportunity? NOPE You won't talk to a stranger about the opportunity.
  • You can't build a website? NOPE You WON'T build a website.
  • You can't learn how to be a leader? NOPE You WON'T learn to be a leader.
I think you get the jist of it now..."Do or do not, there is not try" In other words you will DO it or you WON'T do it...

Etc..etc...and so on!
Does this sound like tough love? Well it IS! I have seen so many people with a flaming passion to make it happen to only quit, run with their tail between their legs and say 'I can't do it'... By doing this they are basically throwing financial freedom, time with family and so much more right out the door. Because they WON'T do it. That's the difference...

When someone says "I want to be like so and so, I just can't do what she does..." NOPE That person is saying they won't do what she does. The ONLY difference is that the SHE had the DO in her. The driving force to make it happen. Not accepting failure as an option. The passion to keep moving forward.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Do you have a WILL DO attitude?
  • Do you have a passion to make it happen?
  • Are you going to let obstacles block your path or will you climb those walls to get to the dream of success?
  • How high will you jump?
  • How far will you run?
  • When you feel you physically can't go a step further, will you take another step?
I wan't dreamers. I want visionaries. I guess I want Jedis to join my team to help me build an Empire! If you have what it takes, contact me...
