Are You Paddling Up Stream? Go with the FLOW!

Have you ever sat on an inner tube on a hot day in the summer and just drifted?

Toes dangling in the water, cool beverage in the hand, and the sound of water tapping the hollow tube as you slowly creep down the winding water...

This is exactly how life is meant to be, we are to 'go with the flow', relax and enjoy life.

However, all too many times people will be in the midst of a soothing journey and all of a sudden they panic, drop their drink, and start kicking and paddling with their arms to get back where they just came from.

Now have you ever attempted to paddle up stream against the current? You have to exert twice as much energy and if you pause just for a second, you'll end up right back where you were!

The FEAR of the UNknown.

This is what drives most people to sit on their tube in stagnant water near the shore in a shallow little wading pool where they can get their feet wet with no obligation of movement.

Many people do this with their home business, they buy a kit, and stay on the auto ship. And stay right there they are comfortable. They can say they have a home business, but fear stops them from moving forward.

When they are there, in the little wading pool, they can not be rejected! They also can not grow. Often they quit...

I've learned over the years it is much simpler to 'go with the flow' vs 'paddling up stream' - what about you?

Do you Keep Pushing for Success, but end up NOwhere?

Sometimes when we push, all we get, is tired...

Often when we want something we want it 'now' right this very moment. However, we have to remember that a journey of 1,000 miles begins with just a single step and it is physically impossible to get from here to there without some travel time in between.

Do this Exercise, stand before a mirror and put your hands up, palms towards the mirror. Now place your palms on the mirror and notice where your palms lay.

The are directly upon the reflection of your very own palms, so couldn't we say when you are pushing you are pushing against yourself?

Just something to think about...

Don't push against you, go with the flow! (see tomorrow's blog for some flowing tips)

Good Things Come to those who ALLOW it!

The Law of Attraction is a Wonderous thing, however many people get stuck on steps 2 and 3
Step 1 is simple, ASK!
Step 2 is a bit harder, ALLOW
Step 3 is the toughest as without step 2, step 3 simply will not happen and this is RECEIVE!

Here is where the confusion lay, many whom read a Law of Attraction (LOA) book such as 'The Secret' simply think that they can ASK or THINK about something and that *POOF* it will manifest in their experience.

For instance, some get the impression that they can focus on money, "I need money, let money come to me!" Yet they get gravely disappointed when they don't get money, and instead they receive a new bill or debt. They then get upset with the LOA and say it does not work!

Here is the catch. When you ASK for something, it is delivered no matter what, based upon your focus. If you ask for money, then say 'ACK I will never be able to pay my bills'. Well you are given 'not being able to pay your bills' because that is the focus of your asking. You are asking based upon lack, and not allowance.

One must be aware of how it is delivered, and even if asked for with laser driven precision!

When someone asks for money perhaps an opportunity for a new job will be presented to them. Perhaps they'll get more hours at their current job. Perhaps their neighbor will ask them to pet sit for the weekend. All of these things are the money flowing to them, BUT many do not recognize this as the money because WORK is involved in it. They brush away the opportunity, they do not recognize that they have been provided exactly what they have asked for.

The next time you ASK for something that you need, pay attention the little things, the stepping stones that will lead you to the exact thing you asked for. Simply put, if you do not allow the opportunity into your life, you are blocking the receipt of what it is you are asking for.

Ask. Believe. Receive.
