Negativity : It's a choice

It can be tough to see someone in a difficult spot, you don't know what to say that's the right thing to say that they won't take in the wrong way.... Yet in the same instance you do not want to feed the darkness.

We must be aware that negativity is a choice, it's a dark spiral that sucks people in.   One must choose not to accept the darkness and must make a conscious decision to move towards the light...

Treat each day as new, tune out the negativity and focus on the good in life.  The more you focus on the dark, the more darkness that surrounds you.

However, the more you focus on the light, the closer to enlightenment you become....

I always like to say face the light because that puts the darkness and shadows behind you!

Remember : No one can make you feel a certain way, you only feel how you allow yourself to feel.  This can be difficult for many to accept.  Choose happy.  The reaction is yours!

BLAH - negative be GONE! I feel SO much better :)

WHEW what a weight LIFTED!  I tell you I had recently started a series of blogs, it was going to be based upon an exerpt from Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich, but it was really dragging me down.

Have you ever had that happen to you?  You start out with what you feel is a bright and inspirational idea, then the more you move forward, the darker you feel?  Just heavy, pulled down, and out of sorts?

My idea was this, I was going to feature the 30 reasons that people fail from the book.  Now the spin on this was fully positive, to shed light on the negative in hopes people may recognize some of these traits within, thus inspiring movement forward, onward and upward.

Well, I was 8 blogs in, but the more I wrote about failure, the more it pulled me down.  Though I was moving towards a positive goal, and though the book Think and Grow Rich is based upon positive mind set, the series of blogs was making me sink.  It was so strange...

I thought I had a wonderous idea for a month's worths of blogs, well, ewwww.   So, I logged in to blogger, checked 8 little boxes and wiped them out.   DELETE sometimes is the sweetest word on a computer keyboard!

Onward and upward to positive minded and inspirational posts.

No Room for Negatives

Forum 'Netiquette" do you do this?

Have you ever been tempted in the heat of a moment to head to your closest forum of online friends and vent about your business? Perhaps you are upset about a change in the company, something your downline, crossline or leader has done (or not done), possibly you tried a product that did not like, or found a typo on the corporate website. Did shipping take too long or did something look wrong, taste wrong or smell wrong? You are so irritated and flustered you simply have to unload this off your chest and you want to do it NOW!

Proceed with CAUTION!

If this moment arises in your online marketing career I share this warning; pause, think about it before you post and choose your words carefully. Re-read your message before clicking that magic button that makes the post available to anyone on that forum and potentially to anyone in cyber space if it is an open forum...
  • How could this post reflect upon you as a business professional?

  • How could this post reflect on the company you have chosen represent?
Always consider the outsider, the person who is not in your company who is lurking in the folder to investigate the products, the opportunity and potential leaders.

Will they see your name in positive threads, or will your name be attached to negative threads?

Everyone poster is entitled to an opinion, but remember that each 'lurker' and potential business prospect forms their views based upon what they read...

"avoid being negative because no one likes being around an unhappy person"

I'm always seeking positive minded individuals to work with!
